Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Plants
PCAP is a global non-profit organization focused on the preservation of our planet and all its inhabitants. The goal is not only to preserve these creatures and protect them but also to create a feeling of both compassion and love for all living things according to the neo-humanist vision.
PCAP Italia is part of PCAP Foundation, an organization of volunteers for the prevention
of cruelty and exploitation of animals and plants.
PCAP is in fact an acronym for "Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals And Plants".
In 1982 the founder Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar wrote a book on Neohumanism,
leaving the foundations and principles to continue and expand the goals of PCAP.
Neohumanism broadens the principles of humanism to all animate and inanimate beings,
inviting love for each of them and taking action to safeguard their existence.

To awaken people to the rights of animals and plants and to the protection of all forms of human and non-human life.
To create a world free from exploitation and cruelty for all forms of life in which all can prosper and live in harmony.
Mission
To help and protect animals and plants against any kind of exploitation and cruelty, to ensure their dignity and freedom.
To create channels of communication between foundations and associations that fight for the rights of animals and plants and those who are willing to fight for a change in the existing situation.
Create models of eco-sustainability in accordance with the socio-economic principles of Neohumanism.
